It’s Earth Day and the world’s largest multi-trillion $ conglomerate TGD Inc (Total Global Domination Inc) has to deliver a press note to the media, providing details of all the activities its million plus employees worldwide undertook in the past one year towards nature conservation.
Medya Relacha, the company’s chief of public relations, rushes into the CEO Karbon Kapucha’s room with a brief press release on this important occasion.
Karbon – Medya, am I glad to see you! I can imagine, in the paper you hold in your hand, the details of the sweat, efforts and conscience of our employees towards keeping mama earth in good, conveyed in a clear manner!
Whether Medya flinched a bit, or whether it was part of his swatting a mosquito that had the misfortune to alight on his nose at that precise moment, we may never know. But we know that he handed that Earth Day press release to Karbon, because he starts reading it aloud, with an enthusiasm and passion that can only belong to Karbon.
“TGI appreciates the conscientious, and in some cases almost unbelievable, efforts put in by every one of our esteemed employees towards preserving the earth. These efforts have had a positive effect on our planet’s interconnected natural ecosystems, critical biodiversity subdomains, and they have incorporated ecologically positive pathways to render terrestrial, aerial and aquatic environments with the potential to be the catalysts for a low carbon future.”
Having taken some time to finish reading it, Karbon looks up at Medya, and then spends some more time to read it a second time.
Karbon: Medya, are you sure this is what you want to dish out as the press release?
Medya: Of course Karbon. How do you think it has come out?
Karbon appears to be searching for the right words, but then decides the simplest form of expression is the best.
Karbon: Confusing. I can’t make anything out of it.
Medya: I’m glad it has come out just as intended, Karbon. Thank you, I must be off. The reporter pack is waiting!
